INNOVATION GRANTS
FOR LOCAL NEWSPAPERS
Full Circle News is pleased to provide a grant opportunity for select local news organizations to enhance their digital presence by implementing video newscasts powered by proprietary new technology from Full Circle News.
This grant aims to support innovation in local journalism by funding up to $12,000 for the deployment of AI-anchored video newscasts developed by Full Circle News, within one year of grant approval.
Innovation Grant Criteria
1. Eligibility Criteria:
- Grant applicants must be local news organizations with an existing digital presence.
- Organizations must demonstrate a commitment to serving their community with reliable and engaging news content.
- Preference will be given to organizations committed to integrating video newscasts powered by Full Circle News into their operations on an ongoing basis.
2. Utilization of Grant Funds:
The grant will fund:
- Production of online newscasts powered by Full Circle News.
- Full Circle technology and support services needed for newscast deployment.
- Non-exclusively license for publishers to use the Full Circle News platform.
- Training staff on using the Full Circle News platform effectively.
- Video rendering costs are not included and remain the responsibility of news publishers.
3. Funding Amount:
- Up to $12,000 per news organization.
- Funding expires one year after grant approval.
4. Evaluation Criteria
Grant applications will be evaluated based on:
- Track record of serving the local community with reliable and engaging news content.
- Commitment to integrating video newscasts powered by Full Circle News into their newsroom operations.
- Technical feasibility and compatibility with Full Circle News operations.
- Full Circle News reserves the right to approve or deny any grant application.
5. Application Deadline:
March 31, 2025
